• I’ve found a new way to prevent members flooding my blog’s database. I setup a submit form where members can contribute their articles and send directly to my email instead of submitting via my blog’s dashboard.

I’ll copy their article from my email and then pasta into my blog under the author’s name. I wonder is there a way that we can privilege an author for each post similiar to the category?

    Thanks

What exactly do you mean? Are you just trying to get the name of the post’s author to show up next to the post?

If you want the name of the author beside the post you can either just add at bottom of article or you can use a template out there called Glued Ideas which is setup for authors.. nice

As you see other blog when they published a post it’ll say Posted by author’s name and I’ll be the one who get articles from my email sending by various of authors. For example, when we want to write a post, we have to select a category right? Similiar to the author. If we have the same authors list as categories so we can select an author for the post

I still don’t understand exactly what you’re trying to do. Now it sounds like you want to be able to change who the author displays as for each post. But there is already an option to do that on the “write post” screen, a little below the box that lets you select a category.

Yeah, I want to select an author for each post

On Write > Write Post page on the right below the Time Stamp don’t you have an option called “Post author”?
However, you can choose only from registered users/authors.
