  • If you have created a template in HTML/CSS already and want to “convert” this to a WordPress theme, I would recommend using Pinegrow Web Editor as a starter, just to get a notion about how things work without getting to much into code. Then slowly you’ll begin to get it and will be able to attack the problem through only using code. But Pinegrow is great for speeding up the work, even if you’re an experienced programmer, in my own experience.
