How to create a transparent NextGen Gallery carousel?

    Hi,
    I’m developing a site that includes a NextGen Gallery and I want to make the carousel background transparent so that only the images and arrows are visible.

    I’ve tried every suggestion that I have managed to source online about making the background transparent and nothing appears to work.

    Using Pagelines Framework 2.4.2
    No other plugins installed.
    All software up to date. etc

    Any help will be greatly appreciated.
