How to create a template for article

  • Hello,

    I need to know how to create a template for my post. In fact, I need to create different template for Different categories of article. How to make that in Storefront ?

  • Hi,

    First of all, please make any modifications like this in a child theme.

    Secondly, please familiarise yourself with the WordPress Template Hierarchy: https://wphierarchy.com/

    In this case, to create a different template for different categories you’d create archive-category-name.php in your child theme.

    For single posts, you’d need to add some logic to query the category and serve different code accordingly.
