How to create a slideshow on the homepage of my blog

Hey,

I’m a photographer and my blog is my primary website. I like the whole format but I’d still like to be able to put in a slideshow of my best images on my homepage for prospective clients to see when they arrive -rather than directly onto my first post. I’d prefer them to view the slideshow first and THEN go onto my blog.

I’m looking at something like this:

or like this:

my blog is https://www.aamerkapadia.com/blog

is there a plugin of some sort that would accomplish this?

keep in mind, I’m using Tofurious’ template while both the other examples use ProPhoto blogs.
