How to Create a Plugin/Theme Codex Similar to WordPress

    WordPress has a beautiful codex. The only thing I know about it so far is that it’s mostly run by MediaWiki https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki

    I’d like to keep an updated documentation on code created for my particular plugins which are on the company website. What is WordPress using to do maintain the beautiful documentation they have?

    Right now I’m using phpdocumentor 2…but I’m uncertain that will do anything useful in this setting. Help much appreciated!
