How to create a Player post template ?

  • Hello everyone,
    I would like to create a custom player post template.
    I duplicated single.php (renamed single-player.php) and I placed it in the sportspress folder.

    I need help because I would like composing my player posts in this exact order :
    – Name (post title)
    – Photo
    – Position
    – Arrival date (a custom metric data)
    – Age
    – Birthplace (an other custom metric data)
    – Description (post content)
    – Statistics

    How to have all this information in the only one single-player.php file?
    Because that requires calling the data one by one with shortcodes I guess, but it’s a little too technical for me. ??
    Could someone help me?
