How to create a multilingual site

  • Hi all,

    Could you please point me to the right direction?
    I need to create a simple website (about 20 pages all together) in 2 languages.

    The user will have to click on a little flag at the homepage to switch between languages. This should include menu items, pages, categories, tags, calendar events and so on.

    Not very familiar with WP so apologies if this has been covered before.
