    Hi,
I have installed WordPress 3.0.1 on my new site. I have multi site functionality but I am using the directory style for new blogs i.e. /blog1
    and /blog2 etc.
I want to display a list of all the blogs created this way on my home page, or any other page, but not in the sidebar.
I know buddy press can create a “blogs” page on our main site and there it displays all the blogs but i do not want to use buddy press.
Can one point to me code that is required to pull a list of blogs that I have in my network.
    Thanks.

  • I’m a teacher using a WP install with multisite enabled (https://brianbennett.org/student) to host my student’s blogs this year. Does anyone have a link to a site using the code above so I can see if it’s what I’m looking for?

I don’t know if this is the right thread, but essentially, I want to either have a listing of blogs and a snipped of their most recent post (similar to an RSS reader) or have the landing page of the multisite have snippets of the most recent posts.

I know very little about coding and I’m not totally sure what those above do. Any help would be great.

    Thanks

Then you should try these widgets.
