Hello guys! First thing, sorry about my English. I am from Brazil.

So, I need to modify the way the search field from UM works. Today the search is based on the username and the names of the user.

You could add some filters in the members directory.

But I need to create a search field on the home page. This search just “search” in specific custom fields (fields from UM) and send directly to the match profile.

In other words. The search will just work with they find an exact match and go directly to the profile, based on a custom profile data (numbers in this case).

    How I can make this?

    Hi @thiagoff8,

I’m afraid, currently, it’s not possible without some custom coding and customization. If you really need this option I suggest hiring a developer for assistance.

    Regards.

@thiagoff8 I hope all is well. I have a similar requirement for UM data. I want a visitor to my site, to be able to go to a search field (that is separate from WP search), then do a search on a custom user profile field, an alphanumeric ID. If there is an exact match, the page returns specific member profile contact information to the site visitor. Is that similar to what you are looking for? If so, I wanted to check if you found a solution, plugin or developer that was able to do this for you? After searching hundreds of plugins and sites, I have seen this requirement pop up again and again across multiple forums, frankly surprised that nobody has done this yet for user profile data (versus posts). Please let me know. Thank you!

Thought guys say in a past support ticket that it was on your todo list to be done? – reference

As I to would like to have additional filters for the custom fields I’ve made if its possible yet?
