How to create a dashboard page

  • I am using the plugin named “Sweet Custom Dashboard” – It’s very cool and allows me to create a custom dashboard for the users of my site to login to.

    What I’m stuck at is I don’t know how to create a /dashboard/ page that doesn’t show up on my nav menu. Basically, if they want to login they’ll go to my /login/ page and sign in…then it redirects them to /dashboard/ – but how do you create this?

  • I would strongly caution users to not use first release plugins: WP rules are extremely ‘flexible’ and if you read their plugin rules, they basically have few actual ‘rules’ (and little if any real world testing). Use only well used plugins by well known authors.
