    Hi,

I have noticed that the theme works only when you have “your latest posts” as a front page display instead of “a static page” which would make more sense. This is fine until I should make an actual blog page. How do I get the posts to go to the blog page when I can’t mark in reading that my posts page is “blog”?

  • Hi,

You can create a new page and use the Blog page template that the theme have and you’ll have a blog within your site. ??

    Hello

it’s funny because I have been struggling with this very issue all day.

I have created a new page which is titled blog. When I select to edit the blog page I am brought to a window which has a large white space in which to type into and then I can select to publish that and hey presto the text appears on the blog page.

When I first did that I thought I had mastered the blog thing. But it turns out I have not, because in the page’s editor I can only post one post. hopefully I am making sense to you – I imagined my blog page to be full of articles each with links etc, but the way it is there is just one window to post in – I expected it to be like facebook (to use the lowest common denominator) that once a post is published go go back to a blank editor window to do another post, but everytime one goes back to the editor window your previous text is there.

Forgive me I am not technical and I am explaining a very specific thing in language which is probably too verbose. Hopefully you get the picture.

Hardeep you say after creating a new page you can use the theme’s blog page template, what do you mean by that? If you have the time could you give me a step by step process please I would be much indebted.

    Thank you, Bruno.

    Hi,

Please look for this section when you create the page: https://hardeepasrani.com/development/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Untitled.png

    Hi,

Now it started to work. Somehow it showed before only the sample page when clicked each post title from the side bar.

bruno5137 . I think you are just adding content to your page called blog. When you add a page, you could call it whatever, and that page would work as a normal page, and to normal page you want only stable information. Now as you want to have a blog, you would need to add a post from the side bar, two steps up from where you add pages. The problem I was facing was that when I added a post it didn’t show up on the blog page even though I had marked the blog page as a blog page. But now it does. Try to write a new post from the posts tab.

    Hello,

yes thank you to both of you I got it working now, just as I imagined it!

    Thanks again.

    Hi,

I also noticed there are some issues with that page template that we need to fix. So I’ll fix it and we will release them with the next theme update. ??
