I am very new to CSS & HTML and would greatly appreciate some guidance on how to modify the default settings to the WP Portfolio plugin.

How can I set up the portfolio to have 2 columns (2 Images side by side) with only the website name underneath the image?

I was able to only display the website name but it appears on the right hand side of the image, and images are stacked into one column.

    Many thanks,
    Tricia

The plugin (WP-Portfolio) doesn’t support columns currently. You would need to create two separate groups of websites (2 website groups) and then modify your template to have two columns. In one column, you would have the first website group and in the second column, you would put the shortcode for the second website group.

It may still not turn out how you want, because the images will stack into one column with the details on the right. Supporting multi-column grids has been requested before a few times and may go into our next revision of the plugin.

    Heya Tricia,

    Is this what you need?

I’ve got a grid setup. Depending on the size of the thumbs and the thumb CSS, I get a different amount of columns.

Let me know, so I can provide the code. It must be around here somewhere, but can’t seem to find it myself.

    Best regards,

    Hi DelCKS,
Thanks for your help, but the sample you provided isn’t exactly what I had in mind.
    Much appreciated!
    Tricia
