How to Create?

    This plugin is exactly what I need to work with Eonet Project Manager to create Projects from the front end. Problem is, the button that shows only allows me to edit the page it’s on (no option to Create a new one), even though I’ve selected Projects as the post type to create/edit and I’ve edited the shortcode to reflect that. What am I doing wrong?

    Hello,

    The “create button” is available through a shortcode that you can use in any WordPress page:

    [eonet_frontend_create type=”post”]

    The type is the post type you want to create ?? Also, make sure that you user has the right capability to do so, otherwise nothing will be displayed.

    Yeah, got that covered. In the shortcode, I’m substituting the word “project” for “post”. I believe I have also tried “eo_project”

    The button shows up just fine, but it says “Edit (page-name)” showing whatever page it’s on. There’s no “Create” option, and no option to create a project, post or anything else.

    The name of the post type is: eonet_project

    Can you give it a shot and confirm me that you’re still having the issue.

    No luck :-(. It’s still just editing the page, unfortunately.

    That said, I would love to see a front-end “Create Project” option in Eonet Project Manager, and would be happy to pay for the upgrade. Perhaps this is something the team might offer in the future?

    Weird, can you just confirm me that:

    [eonet_frontend_create type=”eonet_project”]

    Does not create any new project? Because it definitely should :p

    We don’t do customizations right now, but we do have partners for that if you’re interested.

    Anyway, will have a look on our side to get those guys fixed.
