How to copy tables from Excel to WP?

  • How do I copy the tables “as is” (with borders, bold etc) from an Excel file (or openoffice) to WP?

    When I copy now it has no borders and the format changes. I am using the TinyMCE editor

  • I just copy from OpenOffice and paste straight into the WYSIWIG editor of WP. I do not use the Paste from Word option as that strips out much of the formatting (which is sometimes what you want).

    Wow this does work a lot better from OO than from Office. Fonts and sizes are fine. One question though, non of my cell borders are imported anyone know how to copy that over as well?
