How to copy discussion back to comments?

    Is there a way to copy comments from a forum thread back to WordPress’ regular comments system?

    While this plugin works well, it doesn’t suit my use-case after all (e.g., too much noise in the recent topics section). So I want to revert back to using regular comments. I just don’t want to lose the discussions.
