how to cope with a dark background?

    Hello

    If I select a dark colour for this twenty seventeen theme some of the titles and info in the “more info” part are too light in colour.

    Can you please help with the css in the child theme style.css file to change the colours?

  • I need help with this too! I’d be happy if I could just add a white or light background to the event pages but I’m not a developer so I don’t know how!

    I’ve given up on the dark option as to get the Events Calendar titles and text to show up properly seems to need a great deal of changes using css and so far have not been able to know which need changing!

    If anyone can point me at which elements need changing that would be kind!

    Hope you had a good holiday and all is well! Thanks for reaching out, happy to help here! ?? As this is a styling issue, there is a limited amount of support we can offer, since it is very theme dependent. Here are some suggestions I can off here, however:

    1. I’d recommend first trying some of the other options under “Events<Settings<Display<Default stylesheet used for events templates.” See if one of the other settings solves your problem. (This is the easy fix.)

    2. If that doesn’t help, we have some resources for customizing the theming here. If you need to find someone to help with the customizations, we also have some tips for finding help here.

    I have tried changing from Events to Page template and this does not solve the problem.

    If you could just go to this and you can see how the various parts do not show up well when I select the “dark” color for the theme.

    I have had to go back to the light color as Events Calendar not visible in parts.

    When I hear from you I will opt for the dark color again so that you can see what I mean!
