  • @belerad merry Christmas!

    Thank you for the query.

    * Can you confirm whether both offline and live sites are running the same version of Sydney theme?
    * Did you transfer the theme’s settings (Dashboard > Customize) properly? Can you check side by side?

    Regards,
    Kharis

Hello Kharis and thank yor for the reply,

no, those are not the same versions. I wanted to recreate the website step by step, using the newer version of Sydney on the live server, but i was not able to recreate the overlay of the header. I thought, the overlay feature should not have changed, because it is still a feature shown in the preview of the theme.

Should it not be possible, i still have the options to keep it that way, with a little bit of change to make it look more appropriate, or copy the Website from offline, to live.

    So hi there again,

i solved the issue, almost after i considert to leave it be. The Solution is not to be find in the Customizer, or at least i did not find it there, but in the WP Dashboard. Go to Pages, then go edit, and in the lowest option in the right menu, you find the “Sydney Page Option” with the tag “Transparent Menu Bar”.

Pretty easy, but sometimes i just need an elephant to step on my face, for me to find it.

I was sure there was an option that converts all pages, not just the single one. But im confident to find it sometime ??

But still, thank you very much for the help you tried to offer,
have a nice Happy new year!
