How to convert myGallery 1.5.1 to NextGEN Gallery

Hello,
I know, I am very late, but since 2007 I have a blog which now contains over 1000 pics with myGallery 1.5.1
After August, I’ll convert all this contained Galleries to NextGEN Gallery.

Is that the solution or can you suggest me a another way???
