How to convert from articles to posts?

Hello,

I know there is a plugin for Issuem to convert posts to issue-based “articles”. In my own circumstance, I need to convert a portion of my content back from articles into posts.

Can someone advise how best I can achieve that, without having to manually begin trawling over a year’s worth of content?
