I recently discovered that nofollow links are not got for SEO through Semrush site audit. I tested my site and there I found out that I have 36 links with nofollow tag even though I have never explicitly set any URL to nofollow. I use the new Gutenberg editor and always link to an external link with the default setting, don’t know if it converts it to nofollow.
So I want to convert it to dofollow. But the problem is that I have about 50+ articles and if I went to change them one by one then it will take me days. I tried to use WP external links but its seems to be not working. Can anyone help me

Use the “Set follow or nofollow:” option under the External Links tab to set links to follow or nofollow.

I am having the same problem. I am trying to switch my external links to “dofollow” from “nofollow.” I’ve set follow under external links and selected overwrite existing values. After saving the changes, the external links are still nofollow. Any suggestions?
