I’m now using Simple Flash Video for the .flv videos on my web site:
    https://SB-JustBetweenUs.com
I find I now want to stabilize the proportions of photos used by SFV as “introductory” images for each video.
When a photo in the “Media Library” is too large for my purposes (say 640×480), using the “Edit” provisions don’t change anything though I click on “Save” after having altered proportions.
Bear in mind that in this usage, i.e., photos called by the SFV short code, there is no editing of the photo on the page.
Do I have to redo the photos in “Photo Deluxe,” for example and make them the appropriate size before uploading them to the website?
As always, thanks for helpful replies.

There may be a better way, but I’ve found one solution to my problem.

Load each photo one plans to use with Simple Flash Video into a Photo Editor. ( I’m still using Adobe Photo Deluxe Home Edition.)

Select “Size” from the menu, change the measurement format to “pixels”; change the dimensions to a size you’ve previously determined is right for your use; save the file in “.jpg” format and import it into the Media Library of WordPress.

Then call that file in SFV’s short code.
