  • I have tried this and have deativated all my plugins excl. the mailchimp but it remains “not connected” ??

    For others experiencing this issue, please check the following steps.

    1) Check if your API key is correct

    2) Make sure you have lists in MailChimp.

    3) If you’re using any firewall plugins (like Better WP Security) disable them or play with their configuration

    4) Ask your webhost if they allow cURL over SSL.

    I have contacted my hoster and he confirmed an activated cURL over SSL.
    But still not working.

    If you update to the latest plugin version and fill in an API key, there should be a more detailed error message telling you what went wrong.

    I just have updated to the last version and it now shows the error message
    HTTP Error: Couldn’t resolve host ‘us3.api.mailchimp.com’

    Hi Stef,

    It sounds like your webhost is blocking remote calls to mailchimp.com – please ask them if they know what’s causing this and if they can resolve this issue (allow access to https://us3.api.mailchimp.com.

    Hello.
    I have a website in wordpress that was installed with MailChimp . But for some reasons had to change and create a new account in MailChimp , and now when I put the new API it gives me the following message – HTTP Error : Could not resolve host ‘ s10.api.mailchimp.com ‘

    Would you like a help please , how can I solve my problem and continue working with Mailchimp on my site?

    Hi Edson,

    This was an issue affecting all people on MailChimp server “us10”. The latest version of the plugin fixes this, version 2.2.2.

    Please update the plugin and let me know if that worked for you. ??
