    I’ve just installed OceanWP and one of its sample sets of data.

    Now on my dashboard I keep getting prompts to complete activation now for Ocean Custom Sidebar and Ocean Social Sharing.

    When I click on the links, I’m taken to a page which has no obvious option or way to do this. Or are these requests to complete activation code for “pay money to buy the paid version”?

    Please try to upgrade the ocean extra plugin to the latest version. If you have already updated, please disable/enable the plugin and check.

    Thank you. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled the theme and the Ocean Extra plug in and all was well.

    I then added the Ocean Custom Sidebar plug in and got exactly the same message. I’ve not bothered to also add the Ocean Social Sharing plug in, let’s get the Custom Sidebar one sorted out first.

    I have forwarded this issue to the concerned freemiums team to look into it and they are still investigating why this happens, but it can be resolved using the Freemius fixer plugin: https://github.com/Freemius/freemius-fixer

    Please try to install the above plugin and check.

    Thank you for your further response.

    The Fremius thing looks like it is “above my paygrade” in terms of complexity. It was quicker and easier to swap to the excellent Astra Theme, which is now working perfectly.

    Looking for a solution to this as well. First time I used the theme, and not impressed that this issue is the first thing that comes up

    Amusing that they show the status of this as “resolved”.

    Although, I guess, uninstalling the theme and switching to Astra is indeed a resolution, but hardly a positive one for the OceanWP theme authors.
