    Hi

I’m using Basic Google Maps Placemarks Plugin and everything works fine.

It would be nice to achieve, that an open placemark (=info window) could be closed by clicking anywhere on the map/page, not only by clicking the little ‘x’ on the top right.

    Any ideas how to do?

    thanks

That’s not a feature the plugin supports. If you’re a developer (or want to hire a developer), it should be possible with some custom JavaScript, though.

    Hi Ian
    thank You for Your reply.
I Know, that this is not a supported feature. And I’m not a developer but I know some JavaScript.
If I knew where (which .js-file?) I have to insert the Javascript-Code and/or knowing the ID-Name (or class-Name) of the Info-Window displayed… then I could manage it by myself…

Anyway – thanks for this plugin!

I think this would be a great feature. Perfect as the plugin is for me, not being able to close the open placemark by clicking anywhere is a real hindrance to user enjoyment!

Any ideas on how to achieve this?
    Thanks
    Marek
