    Is there an option to clear the result of chart in result settings? I deleted all entries but it seems the output history or result in charts stays. Im using personal version, is it available in pro?

    Hi,

    1. The issue was, I cleared the entries in the RESULTS section, meaning I deleted all those users who participated in the choosing poll so I am assuming that the ANSWER CHART entries will be cleared out also, but it is not the case. The history or old entries are still visible in the ANSWER CHART.
    2. Here is the version I am using. Version 3.4.7

    Thank you for the clarification.

    We have checked our end but can’t find the issue you are describing.

    The chart is directly connected to the Results that are restored to your DB(Database). So, it is technically impossible not to have results but to be displayed via a chart.

    We strongly believe that the issue comes from the cache plugin.
    Please clear all of the caches (DB, Plugin, Browser) and check whether the issue persists or not.

    By the way, would you mind providing us with 2 screenshots:
    1. The screenshot of the chart.
    2. The screenshot of the Poll Results.

    Hi,

    Here is the LINK

    In the results tab it shows only 1 user since i deleted the other entries.
    When I navigate to the result chart the old entries are still there, I have deleted all the cache and browser history but still results are not refreshing.

    Thank you for the link.

    We have checked your website and noticed that you are using W3 Total Cache plugin. Most presumably, you haven’t deleted all of the caches.

    Please try to click on the “Purge all caches”.

    If that doesn’t work, please either try to remove all of the caches we have mentioned from the plugin (particularly DB) or get in touch with their support team, as, unfortunately, the issue is not connected with us.

    Hi,

    I have done what u told me to do, to purge all cache but still the results stays in the chart. I then go manually to the database table ‘ayspoll_answer’ and found that those entries are still there. What i did was i deleted all answers manually from the db and now those entries are removed from the front end chart also. I also disable the wp_total_cache plugin after i deleted all records.
    Second test i did was, i executed the poll again to see if after disabling the total cache plugin the same issue will not happen again, but no, issue still persist. I believe that even if u deleted those entries in the results tab, all records will still stays in the ays_poll_answer table, which somehow make sense also but somehow create some confusions from the users since users will expect an auto refresh kinda functionality. The other question i have now is where are those records from results tab being kept? Is there a table i can check?
    And finally, the export to excel functionality, does this include all the fields needed to validate those answers from each and every users who voted? This is actually really important for data validation.

    Thank you for your reply.

    When you delete the reports, the results are also being deleted from our Report table ({Wordpress_prefix}_ayspoll_reports). Then the Votes Column located in the Answers table ({Wordpress_prefix}_ayspoll_answer) is automatically being zeroed.

    Most presumably, it is not being zeroed in your case.
    The issue can be connected to the PHP or MySQL versions.
