Does this cleaner delete rogue entries in the uploaded files list?

I have entries in the uploaded files for which the fie has been deleted using the permanently delete option from the media library but the entry still exists in the uploaded files with a dustbin / trashcan icon. I hoped that this tool would delete these files.

    Hello @grahamtree! ??

The Database Cleaner allows you to delete and manage database entries, but it doesn’t handle physical media. Depending on your use case, you might need both functionalities. To address uploaded files, it’s recommended to use Media Cleaner instead, as it might be more appropriate for your needs.

thank you for your reply. Yes that it what I hoped but it didn’t work.

just to be clear: I have entries in the uploaded files database for which there is not a corresponding physical file. The physical file has been deleted but the entry still exists in the uploaded files database. I ran the database cleaner but the entry still exists in the database. Do you know of a way I can delete the entries please.

    Hi @grahamtree,

Database Cleaner cannot do this; however, Media Cleaner should be able to do this, since it’s dedicated to the Media Library and file uploads. We can talk about it over there, but please try the plugin first.
