How to clean terms of a deleted taxonomy?

Hi,

I see that WP Sweep detects and allows me to delete ‘unused’ terms, even if the taxonomy does not exist anymore.

But it seems it does not allow me to delete terms that were ‘in use’ (associated with some CPT) before the taxonomy deletion.

Is there a way to do this?
It is a very important feature, when you delete a taxonomy all the terms in use are not really deleted and are somewhere in the db.
