how to choose/chnage a template for result page

    Well, since you are using the default search template, then the template that responsible for displaying the search result is search.php (most probably, some theme may used other template).
    So you can edit this template so that it can show full-width template.
    You can manually edit or, perhaps the theme have the option to do this in the admin backend.
    If you are not sure, you can consult with the theme author.
