Sorry for silly question. I was not the one who set up the system but I’m the one who has to figure it out if something is wrong. Or it’s just the customer…

Situation is like this. The guy made the payment but sent e.mail that he didn’t get the file. And that’s probably true. And because we had some problems on the site after wordpress update, I was thinking:

Q1: Is the tab “Logs” when you click on “Downloads” shows actually downloaded files?

Q2: Does the user have to be logged in for successful download (after the payment)?

Q3: What if the payment on paypal went with one e.mail but the used is registered with another one? Would it cause the problem with download?

I apologise in advance. There is still a chance that the user simply didn’t see where to click…

    Hi @3nt

If you open the Order in the Downloads > Orders page, on the Logs section you can click on the File Download Log or Customer download Logs links.

As soon as the customer clicks on the download link they receive, via email or from the Purchase Receipt page, an entry is recorded. If they show up in that logs page then they had clicked on the download link.

The user does not have to be logged in to download from the Email Receipt download link.
