How to check if logged in user is having active membership in custom function?

    I am working on the custom functionality in which i am using this plugin for the membership. Now I want to check if logged in user is having the active membership – [ not the expired or unpaid ] in my theme’s functions.php file.

    Are you guys have any snippet or developer helping function for that?
