• I asked my webhost to check if AllowOverride FileInfo options in vhost is set to ALL, but he answered I can activate this option on my own in .htaccess, and if I don’t know how to do that I shall browse Internet !!
    As far as I understand I shall put this code into my .htacces
    <Directory />
    AllowOverride All
    </Directory>

    Am I right? If yes, in which line shall I put this code

    Thanks for your answer

    No I get your problem, it’s just that your .htaccess looks SO wildly different that I may be derailed by wondering if THAT is what’s causing the problem. Does that make sense?

    (I’ve had a couple days of ‘explaining myself badly’…)

    That actually looks like the wpmu htaccess.

    I’ve never seen this line: RewriteBase /public.html/wordpress/#

    The # is probably just going to be ignored, but the /public.html/ base is really weird to me.

    Yeah, *that* line is messed up, but the rest of it was mu-like.
