    To do so you can take advantage of WPP’s HTML customization options, like this for example.

    Assuming you’re using the widget, try using the stock WordPress thumbnail images instead:

    1. Go to Appearance > Widgets > [Your sidebar name] > WordPress Popular Posts.
    2. Under the Display post thumbnail checkbox, select the Use predefined size option.
    3. Pick your preferred thumbnail size (and if there’s none that fits your desired size, create a new image size then come back to this step and select it.)
    4. Finally, click on Save to apply changes.
