How to change User profile layout?

hey ppk1982 i also want the user profile layout to be changed in their document it is given that by using you can change it but when i tried i created a template to change but layout does not changed

No @ppk1982 it did not worked i created the template and it appears as backend 2 in the setting but when i made changes it did not changed anything frontend.

As other users asked here, I would create my own single user template, I am struggling and tried in so many ways but no luck.
1) I’m using Elementor page builder, so I would create a template where I put the UM profile shortcode (username, avatar,and gear icon for editing) on top and a shortcode of an Elementor user template where displaying each user posts, under. How to do this?
2) How to set UM to display both WP posts and a CPT, not only posts?
