How to change the_content to the_excerpt?

  • Hello i found out that i can make use excerpt so that summary will be the ones publish in search results and in front page.. But my problem is i don’t know how to use it. Because the more-tag is ruining my template.

  • hi – if you are talking about your posts page, usually the file to change is index.php in your theme’s folder. every theme is coded differently but generally it will be index.php
