How to change the width of a page

    Hello, and thank you for helping beforehand.
    The problem I am having is that the text of a page is too wide. How can I make the text less wide, without changing anything else? I have can change the whole page width by changing #bodychild {}. However, I would like the menu bar to take the whole width of the screen. (I am using the openstrap theme). Maybe I should change the width of the page templates?

    please post a live link to the page you want to change; formatting issues cannot really be discussed otherwise.

    try using a browser inspection tool when working with these kind of issues to locate the best suitable CSS selectors for the changes.
