How to change the text displayed by EM?

    I would like to change some of the default text found in the application. For example, there is a button on the booking page that reads “Send your Booking”. This word “booking” is a little odd in the context of registering for classes.

    It appears that this text is being assigned in the em-install.php file:

    'dbem_bookings_submit_button' => __('Send your booking', 'dbem')

    Would it be possible for me reassign this mapping using a piggyback plugin?

  • Actually, it’s easier than that. You can change it by going to Events > Settings > Bookings > Booking Form Options.

    Is there any way to make the messages depend on the event category? I am sure this is asking too much, but we have classes, workshops and speakers.

    yes it’s possible however you need custom coding for this to work which am afraid I cant help you out since I havent tried it yet.
