I have installed Google for Woocommerce and after a lot of issues it seems to be working okay. However, the Tag Manager is incorrect and one I don’t recognise. After the tag code is the following, which leads me to believe it’s been inserted by this plugin: <!-- End Google Tag Manager --><!-- Google site verification - Google for WooCommerce -->

I can’t find anywhere in the plugin to add the correct tag id.

  • Hey there, @chillifish! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

This plugin doesn’t let you input a Tag ID directly.

Are you using other Google plugins such as Google Site Kit, Google Tag Manager or something else?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

Only Google Analytics for WooCommerce plugin. Happy to use Site Kit, but I don’t want it to cause issues with the other two. Are they compatible together?

    Hello @chillifish,

Generally, there should be no conflict between the Site Kit and the Google Analytics for WooCommerce plugin; however, monitoring your site after installing or activating new plugins is always a good idea to ensure everything is working harmoniously.

Before making any changes, consider creating a backup of your website and possibly testing the plugins together on a staging environment to ensure they fulfill your tracking requirements without issues.

I would also recommend taking a look at this thread for more insights as well.

I hope this information helps. Please let us know if you have additional questions.

    Thanks!
