How to change the post author?

  • Hi,
    I have never used Elementor and need help. I need to change the author for several posts. I thought it would be easy so I used Quick Edit to select the desired new author. However after saving the change, the post still displays the original author.

    When I open the post in Edit with Elementor I still see the original author there too.

    How can I do this?
