How to change the order of the list ?

    Hello,

    I have added all the lists in the table press. Now I have to change the order of all the tables. Is there any option to change the order of the table?

    Like I have added the table like

    Example 1
    Example 2
    Example 3
    Example 4

    Now i have to how the list like

    Example 1
    Example 4
    Example 2
    Example 3

    Is there any option to do? In WordPress there is an option to change the publish date and it will show the list according to your needs. Any option in Tablepress?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Just to be sure, do you mean the “List of Tables”? You can sort that by clicking on the corresponding column header on that screen (also by date).

    Alternatively, you could change the table’s IDs to get a different order on that screen.

    Thank you so much for the reply, Yes, I am talking about the List of Tables.

    But i am not talking about the clicking on the corresponding column header can short. I think this is the temporary solution.

    Can you help me out how to change the table id’s?

    Hi,

    thanks for the confirmation!

    Indeed, that sorting would be temporary only.

    To get a new default order, you would indeed have to change the table ID. For that, just type in the new one in the table ID field on the “Edit” screen of each table and save the changes.
