How to change the name of the attachment filename, which the customer downloads?
`At the moment the file is called “filename.zip”.

Is there a possibility to change the filename to “ORDERNUMBER-filename.zip” or “userid-filename.zip”?

(each user must download an archive with a unique name after ordering)

    Hello @cheapeddie,

At the moment, there’s no default option to change the downloadable file name in WooCommerce, thus serving a different file name on each order.

Customizing that would require a bit of additional coding. Custom coding goes beyond the scope of support we are able to provide in this forum but I found this Stack Overflow thread where another user asked how to rename the downloadable file here:

    https://stackoverflow.com/a/66465790

I hope this can point you in the right direction, but if you require more help with the actual coding, we’d recommend hiring a developer or one of the customization experts listed at https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.

    Cheers.
