How to change the hyperlink of the blog

  • Hi there
    We are using the theme: ?Wanderer“ and there is our logo in the top left corner. On this logo the link of the blog is configured (blog.lings.ch). How can we change this link to lings.ch? The theme doesn’t support that. Or another possibility is to add a link to the subtitle below the logo. But also this is not supported. I guess this needs to be changed in the html file. But how do I do this?

  • Assumption: you want the logo to link to a different site and you don’t have an option from your dashboard.

    I would start by checking the header.php file to see if the option to add your own link to the logo is in there.

    Thanks… how do I change the header.php file? Unfortunately I dont have any editor in my dashboard… unlike in some videos I saw in youtube… the editor is missing… our site is hosted with WP and we do have the business edition of WP…

    Did you try the following?

    Dashboard >> Appearance >> Editor (from Appearance sub menu)
    then from Theme Files (usually listed on the right)

    Yes, this editor does not excist in my list… Do I somehow have to unlock this editor first?

    what role do you have? for example Editor / Administrator as this can restrict what access you have at the backend
