My blog is about my recovering from sex addiction. Since the beginning I use the great themes from Anders Noren (first McLuhan, now Lingonberry). In the German translation of the theme, “Read more” is translated as “Lesen Sie weiter”. I don’t like this translation, because for me it sounds like a command. I would prefer “Weiterlesen”. Is it possible to change the translation in an easy way (without using a child theme)? Right now I use a plugin for this purpose (Advanced Excerpt Options), but I try to use as few plugins as possible.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @meinwegausdersexsucht,

Glad you like Lingonberry! The translation is retrieved from the German translation on www.remarpro.com, which you can view here. You can also submit a recommended change to the translation, but it can take a while before changes take effect (if they get approved, which is up to the locale editor).

Another option is to install a plugin that lets you modify the translation directly on your site. Loco Translate is a popular option.
