How to change the footer padding?

  • Hi, I’d like to shrink the footer height by reducing the top and bottom padding area.

    I’ve created a child theme and tried to edit style.css:

    08. FOOTER

    #footer {
	font-size: 13px;
	font-weight: 300;
	background: #232323;
	padding: 65px 10px 40px;
	border-top: 4px solid #444;
}

    Well, I change the padding values but nothing happens on my front-end.

    What is the problem?

    I can’t provide URL because the site is still not active. I work on it on my localhost.

    Anyway, I can follow your guide. It is about any child theme of “Grow”.
