How to change the ellipse color for pagination

    My site isn’t live yet, but let me know if you need to see it to help me.

    Using Safari’s developer tool, I found the CSS to change the ellipse color for my pagination. When I added it to my child stylesheet and added color, it didn’t work. 

    li.pagination-omission {
color: #777;
}

    I also tried it without the ‘li’ in the code. I’m not using a plugin for pagination, just whatever came with WordPress and my StudioPress theme. I can change it via the developer tool, but not in my stylesheet.

    Any idea how to do this? It seems so simple. Thanks!!
