    Hi there.

In the “page preview” for a product, in this case a species of endangered wildlife, I have a couple of problems with the “Donate” button.

    1. It is far too small and I cannot find anywhere to edit it.
    2. Most importantly, the link of the “donate” button is directly to the “checkout”, when I need it to link to the “basket”. How do I make that change please?

I am attempting to find a way of creating a single page, listing several wildlife species, to which visitors can donate. Visitors need to be able to donate to more than one species, with all inputted donations entering into a single “basket” (and therefore checkout) for a donor to pay once.

You help would be appreciated please.

    Many thanks.

    Hi jpm2f,

    thanks for reaching out.
The styling of the “donate” button is provided by your theme. If you send me a link to your homepage I can provide you some custom CSS that you can add to your site to change the styling and overwrite your theme.
Donation Platform for WooCommerce does not yet support redirecting to the cart page as a middle step but this feature is already on my roadmap.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Jonas

    Good to hear from you.

    1. “button” styling … Oh, OK … thanks for that. I have looked but was unable to find any settings that affected the button. May be the theme we are using, which we are contemplating changing. Currently Twenty-Twenty Four. We are looking for something better.
    2. Unfortunately, cannot send you a link because, since writing to you, we have had to deactivate WooCommerce in order to try to solve a major problem. WooCommerce is blaming all the plugins we have tried, including yours, for the fact that we seem unable to add more than one donation form to a single page. If, for example three donation projects are added, having added them as “products” in Woo, only the first one is visible, the others are shown as “Only one donation form per page allowed”. This is a major limitation and may mean we are forced to abandon Woo altogether.
    3. “does not yet support redirecting to the cart page” – that is a big limitation for us at the moment, however I am sure you can overcome that.

Your plugin is excellent and frankly, if Woo would get their act together, it would be an ideal solution for us and many other charities. It is WooCommerce we have major concerns with. If they fix the issue of multiple donations, then we can use them and your solution. If not we will be forced to find another platform or a work around, which we are not sure how to achieve.

    Speak again soon.

Hi, yes, only one donation form per page is a limitation of Donation Platform for WooCommerce, you can learn more about it here: https://www.wc-donation.com/documentation/troubleshooting/resolving-error-only-one-donation-form-per-page-allowed/ and https://www.wc-donation.com/documentation/advanced/multiple-donation-forms-on-one-page/

    Best,
    Jonas
