How to change the category of a post if meta updates value?

  • Hi,

    Newbie to PHP/WP. Not scared of code. Any help appreciated.

    My categories are listed on home page using post category widget.

    If the custom meta field of a post updates (stock level goes down after purchase), I would like the post to be added automatically to a different category than the one it was in originally.

    Can anyone point me in the right code direction?
