• Does anyone know how to customize the text that appears on some of the dialogue boxes and the buttons, for example:

    – there is a dialogue box that appears if you try to finish the quiz without answering all the questions which currently says “You must answer all questions before you can completed the quiz”. Its obviously not grammatically correct for English speaking audiences and I want to replace it with a different statement. I searched all the plugin files and couldn’t find this string of text anywhere.

    – I want to swap out the word ‘quiz’ for ‘assessment’ wherever it appears throughout the plugin

    – I want to remove the prompts that appear beneath the registration boxes like name and email address before you start the quiz. Currently there are 2 pink boxes that appear which say “You must enter a text” – I just want to remove these.

Anyone know how to do any of this?
    Thanks

  • Hi, Hope you find a solution since you post this…
I think one easy way to do that is through files.po and .mo.and change the translation. (you can use the plugin “Codestyling Localization” for that or “Poedit”).

Thanks Caroline, I did manage to change it through the Poedit translation

I changed the text for “Start Quiz” in “WpProQuiz_View_FrontQuiz.php”. Will that create any problems when there is an update to the plugin?

Yes thedragon1dan. You’ll probably lost your changes.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you also know if there is possible to make a 2 quiz’s with multiple choice and free text on one page?
