How to change Tag names?

    I have a tag I want to change the name for from “Tiny Cottage” to “Cottage”.

    In the past I have changed a tag name by hand, editing the tag name on each post. In this case there are a lot of posts with this tag which will make it a very long process.

    Is there a plugin that allows me (the blog admin) to change the name of a tag and then have all the posts related to that tag also get changed?

    Is there another easy way?

    I’ve searched the support archives and the plugins but have come up blank. Perhaps I’m not using the right search terms. Any helpful suggestions are appreciated.

  • dashboard – posts – post tags then click the edit link below the tag name which you want to edit

    Many thanks. Some how I got in my head that when I did it there WordPress didn’t edit the tags on the posts. Solved and thank you.
