How to change something on my “more” tag

    My more tag looks like this in the index file:
    <?php the_content(__(‘Read more’));?>

    It takes people to this link: mysite.com/postname/#more-4

    The #more-4 causes it to take people halfway down the post page. I want it to take people to the top of the post page. How do I make it take people to mysite.com/postname without the #more-4?
